Capuchino is the name of the new cafe in Cressida Road - it’s not a misspelling, but a play on the chemical formula for caffeine. The cafe has proved popular so far and, as well as offering friendly service, good coffee and snacks, books and games, there are also plants for sale. In the picture are the owner, Csaba, his mother, and our illustrious chair, Dorothy. A welcome addition to the neighbourhood and well worth a visit. It is a regular venue for “Cuppa with a Copper” and Sujan Nandanwar’s “Crafternnoons”.

Trattoria Terra replaced Milou’s a few years back. Our then secretary Carl Quilliam visited and said: “This new Italian restaurant is fantastic. It’s run by a young Italian couple and has a small but original (and extremely tasty) menu. Even when it’s not busy the friendliness of the staff helps create a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you want to keep coming back. It also does great Italian coffee for anyone who likes a decent caffeine fix. I highly recommend it and hope lots of WHPARA members will check it out and support this great local restaurant.”
